I would like to introduce iced coffee. Do you know anything about New Zealand iced coffee? If you know imagine it’s like Japanese, it is a big mistake. New Zealand is different from Japanese.
At first, Japanese iced coffee is cold black coffee and the taste is bitter you know. When people drink it, they often add sugar or milk because of bitter taste. However New Zealand doesn
’t need to do that. This is New Zealand iced coffee. There is ice cream on the top and it is not black coffee but milk coffee. It looks like parfait. The taste is sweeter than Japanese. In addition it is lukewarm, (lukewarm means not cold but hot), so many Japanese people are surprised at this coffee.
Therefore please be careful when you order iced coffee in New Zealand café. It is not black cold coffee! If you want to drink like Japanese, you should go to Starbucks Coffee.

Iced coffee
Japanese iced coffee means just cold black coffee. The taste is bitter so sometime people add milk or sugar when they drink this coffee . If you imagine that New Zealand is the same as Japanese, it is wrong!!
New Zealand iced coffee means lukewarm, and whip cream or ice cream is on the top. It looks like parfait and sweet. Whenever you order iced coffee, the sweet coffee is served, so many Japanese people are surprised at this coffee when they look it for the first time. Surprisingly there isn't like Japanese iced coffee in New Zealand. If you drink Japanese, you should go to STARBUCKS COFFEE.
There are some New Zealand restaurants in Japan.
If you want to try to drink this coffee, I recommend this restaurant.
You will be able to enjoy New Zealand food there.
I think if you like sweet, you can enjoy New Zealand iced coffee. Please try to drink it!!

We are going to talk about La Tomatina. At first, I’m going to talk about what is La tomatina and history of this festival. La Tomatina means tomato festival. The content is very simple because people just throw a lot of tomatoes at other people. Some people dive into tomato’s pool. This festival is so crazy!!
This festival started since 1945 in Spain. There are some stories about history. For example, it occurred by fight of men, but there are not certain.

La Tomatina
Our group examined about “La Tomatina”. It is famous festival, so you may know about it. This time I would like to introduce about this festival.
“La Tomatina” means tomato festival. This festival is held Bunol in Spain in August every year. Many people assemble in this town from all over the world with the coming of the festival. Surprisingly the population in this town becomes three times!!

Main item is tomato you know. About 140 tons tomatoes are prepared on trucks. The trucks come to narrow streets and square of Bunol. Then tomato battle starts with sign at 12:00. People start throwing tomato to other people. As soon as the festival starts everything which are people, building and street turns red by tomato.
After 1 hour, the battle stops with second sign. It is amazement, because noisy battle stops suddenly. Then workers in the city bring strong hose and they start spraying of water. Everything is washed and the city is completely recovered. In addition there are many showers, so participant can cleanly wash their body. This crazy festival finishes in a short time.

Everybody can take part in this festival, so participants are increasing every year. However there are some rules for them. They must not bring dangerous objects like bottle into the festival. They need to crush tomato before throwing, because of prevention of injury. They must take care about truck. They must obey finish sign. If you want to join in this festival, you must obey these rules.
I am interested in this festival. When I watched picture of tomato festival for the first time, I was amazed, because people were covered by tomatoes. I have never seen such as heavy tomatoes. I think tomato battle helps reduce stress. If you are interested in tomato festival, you should search about it.

My favorite movie
I like watching movie very much! When I am at home, I usually watch DVD. Especially, I love Ghibli animation. Therefore I would like to introduce my favorite movies to you.
One of my favorites is “Kiki’s Delivery Service”. This movie was made by Hayao Miyazaki and released in 1989. Main character is Kiki who is girl of witch. She is 13 years old. When witch become 13 years old, they should stand on them own feet. It was old custom. Therefore Kiki decided to leave her hometown with Jiji. Jiji is a black cat which is Kiki’s partner. Then they arrived one port town. There was big clock tower in the town, and beautiful town. She liked this town, and she decided to live here. She was excited to her new life. However people didn’t pay attention to her. She felt down. Then she met Osono who is bakery. Kiki was pleased by her, so Kiki was allowed to rend her house and she started new job. It was delivery service.
When she was delivering, she dropped customer’s present which looked like Jiji. Who found the present was Urusura. Urusura was painter and lived in little house in forest. Kiki and Urusura became good friends. Gradually Kiki was used to her new life. One day Kiki was invited club party by Tombo. Kiki met him before. He was interested in her, but she disliked him. She was very surprised and glad for his offer. The same day she visited old lady. The old lady asked Kiki to deliver a pie for her grandchild. Kiki delivered the pie, but the grandchild was very chilly. Kiki felt down again, and she had a bad cold because of heavy rain. Then Tonbo waited her in front of her house for a long time. However she couldn’t go to the party. Osono cared for her and Kiki became better. Then Kiki dated Tombo dated through Osono. They went to seaside by bicycle. They talked about each other, and Kiki realized he was good man.
Then her magic had weakened. She noticed it because she couldn’t talk with Jiji. She couldn’t understand what he says. Besides she couldn’t fly, so she was very shocked. However she got over the accident by people.

Summer vacaion
I had a good time in summer vacation. I would like to tell you about the most wonderful memory.
I belong to touch foot ball club in NUFS. We play every Thursdays and Saturdays. I enjoy playing touch foot ball with about 30 members.
We went to Norikura in Gifu prefecture to club camp. Our club goes there every year, but it was first time for me. We stayed there for 5 days. It was very cool, because our accommodation was at top of the mountain. The weather was almost cloudy, so we could play with good condition. Our schedule was almost same every day. We had to get up at 6:30, it was hard for me. Then we took part in morning ceremony, and I had a break fast. The meal was very delicious, so some of members ate some helpings. After meal, we started workout. Actually, we rarely played with such large members, so it was precious time. Our team has 3 types of teams that open team (man only), ladies team and mix team. Mix means man and woman can play together.
We separated man and woman, and we trained hard until noon. After lunch, we started workout again. As soon as training finished, we had a bath time, and had a dinner. After dinner, we enjoyed some game, for example charades and badminton. There were very excited!! We enjoyed very much. We spend every day such schedule.
We will take part in touch foot ball tournament in this November. If we lose, seniors will retire, so this camp was very important for us. Whenever I played, I found my fault for game. I couldn’t play what I want, so it was regrettable. Each of members could find personal challenge.
During camp, one of members came 20 years old. Therefore we held birthday party for her secretly. Every one celebrated her singing birthday song. Besides we prepared birthday cake for her. She was very surprised and pleased. It was wonderful time.
Our club has been building good relationship, so I think that we can win next tournament with teamwork. I have never taken part in ladies game, so I ‘m looking forward to the game. I want to turn my previous experience to advantage.
We will visit Norikura next year. I’m looking forward to next camp!!
